SP44 was DOPE. had such a fantastic time there - i'd landed in London the day before, hit studio finishing a few bits n pieces, caught some sleep and it was off to probably the best club music festival on the planet. i was up there guesting on Phil Asher's Phlash & Friends set along with vocalist Sandra N'kake and Shea Soul - both iLL on the mic. we hit at 5am just after Zagreb's Eddy & Yannah and before Ron Trent's 7am morning shake down - the vibe was HEAVY. had a lot of fun doing the Phlash & Friends set with Phlash and well.. friends! all about the good vibes.
at soundcheck i gave phil a cdr of the new tortured soul remix i'd just done - the day before i finished the keyapella bonus mix and suggested it might be the vibe to start the set with, so phil dropped it and i got on the vocoder. the snippet is only 39 seconds, but hey... you get the vibe. carnage was about to ensue! :)
