A month of spring in Europe.... on Tour

This time next week i'll be in recovery from the gig at the Southport Weekender - playing there guesting with Phil Asher for his Phlash & Friends set alongside Shea Soul and Sandra Nkake. It's going to be a dope gig at one of the best DJ/club music festivals on the planet. Our room also features Waajeed, Kerri Chandler, Stephanie McKay Live and Eddy Meets Yannah from Croatia as well as others... the night before us, the room's going to be murked by Kaidi Tatham Live and IG Culture spinning amongst others - and that's all just ONE room of many. Also while i'm over that way, there's studio time with Phil Asher as well as tracking vocals with Shea Soul and Baby Sol for the new Funktioneers album - young Norweigan funk band i've been producing - as well as Bembe Segue getting involved with the songwriting for it; and studio in Norway with the band finishing off bits and pieces for the record. It's exciting to see this one shape up!

There's going to be live shows in Bulgaria, Austria, Norway, Finland, UK, Spain and a few dates still to be announced. Amongst others really looking forward to the Funky Elephant Festival in Helsinki where i'll have full crew with me - Bembe Segue and Vanessa Freeman on mic, Jason Yarde on horns, and Yoann Julliard on live drums. Heads up UK fam, the exclusive London show will be at East Village May 31... Afronaught on decks, and i'm dropping the live club set with Vanessa Freeman on mic and surprise guests. There's a lot of places I'm not visiting this trip, but keep an eye on the schedule, there's plans for more Europe tours this year.
